What 97% RTP Predicts, and What It Does Not

Return to player is a long-run average computed across millions of simulated spins. At 97%, Mega Ace's theoretical return is ₱97 for every ₱100 staked over that horizon - and the remaining ₱3 is the house edge that funds the operator. It is a property of the game's maths, certified before release.

What it does not predict is your evening. RTP says nothing about a hundred spins, or a thousand. Over any session you can plausibly play, the outcome is governed by volatility, not by the RTP figure. A player who reads 97% as 'I should get most of it back tonight' has misread the number in the most expensive possible direction.

If you take one thing from this page, take this: at a fixed RTP, volatility decides the shape of your session. High volatility concentrates the same 97% into fewer, larger events. Low-medium volatility spreads it into many small ones. Neither is more generous. They simply fail differently.
